When I try to delete something (or some other operations) in Vista, always some kind of a admin permission request occurs. How can i cancel this question? I just want to click on the delete and delete like it is in XP.

How do you install windows xp on vista computer?

I have windows vista and I am trying to install an older version of xp which is 2002 but for some reason it says “Setup cannot continue because the version of Windows on your computer is newer than the version on the CD.
Warning: If you decide to delete the newer version of Windows that is currently installed on your computer, the files and settings cannot be recovered.”
but there is nothing that says continue ,or to proceed with the action that i have chosen, so what do i do?

My desktop has blue screened and i was trying to reinstall Windows XP on it. I have the original disk. What are the steps to boot the computer from the cd drive if possible? Thanks.
