I have downloaded a boot scree in Vista and can’t figure out how to use it as my boot screen, can anyone help me?

My old machine is now dead, but I realised on opening Vista Explorer browser/Yahoo Home page – my old Favourites list isn’t there. Can anyone tell me how I retrieve it? Is it all done with smoke/string & mirrors thru the wonders of Yahoo Mail?! Thanks.

When i start up windows it comes up with two choices: earlier version of windows and windows vista. I want to remove windows vista. Please help me, i have tried formatting the d drive and it dont work, please help as my computer came wiht xp and i perfere that.

I have to replace my laptop harddisk. I am making a backup at the moment on an external drive but am not sure how to put Vista back on the new drive. Can I make a copy of it from the old drive? If so how do I do that? I still have the license number as proof that it came with the machine but the laptop came with vista pre-installed.
