At present my new computer has come with windows vista home premium but the programme is naff the system is too slow for what I want it for, my old computers programme is windows xp proffessional and runs much faster then vista home premium
You can install Windows XP on the new computer using the Windows XP original installation disk. You will have to format the C drive and install Windows XP fresh as you cannot downgrade to Windows XP from Vista. Windows 7 seems to be much better OS than Vista and XP and hence as someone pointed out already here, its a good idea to wait for a while and upgrade to Vista directly.
add the max ram for vista
you will have problems with xp on a computer built for vista
just wait for 7 to come out on the 22nd and get it.
