Can any one please guide me steps by steps the way,how to install windows Vista and Xp (two operating systems) on single pc.I know how to install xp but i have never installed Vista ? Currently i am having Win Xp installed in my system so please guide me how to install Vista.

You can’t have more than one operating system on one computer. You have to decide whether you want to keep running XP or upgrade to Vista because you can’t run both at once. If you want to install Vista, just insert the CD into your computer and follow the instructions that come up.
alright this is what you do. put a vista or xp cd it and reboot your computer and then press anykey when it says “press anykey to boot from cd”, then you partition the drive from the cd and install that operating system to that partition, after that, put the other os cd in and install that one onto the other partition. after that, you should have two operating systems on the hard driver
Here’s what you do:
First of all u need to divide least 2 HDD partitions on your computer. Once that’s done, simply insert the vista and XP (not at the same time of course) disk in to ur disk drive and install it on partition one and install XP on the other. How can you choose between them? the next time u start up your computer after both installations are completed a selection screen will pop up during the boot and all you have to do is to choose between them. Also, don’t forget your drivers. Hope this answer helped
Here is a step by step guide with screen shots for installing vista when xp is already installed.

This can be done, although if you are new to working on computers it can be tricky.
The first step, aside from acquiring a copy of windows vista (virtually any vista DVD will work to install…), is partitioning the hard drive. Create a new partition (you may need to shrink your existing partition) that is at least 20 GB.
Once you have a new partition, boot the computer up with the Vista DVD. Follow the prompts for a “custom” install. At one point, it will ask which drive to install Vista on, select the new partition.
Continue with the install. When the computer reboots, it should now bring up a menu to choose between XP and Vista.
