You’d have to buy the OS CD. It would be a complete waste of money, because your only “upgrading” from Win7 HP it would be cheaper but, Ultimate isn’t alot better, and depending of the Specs of your laptop would run slower
Click the “Start” button & search for “anytime upgrade”. Follow the prompts from there!

Its a waist of money. Why dont you lookup Ubuntu and try it. Ubuntu.com Its a great OS its bettere than windows 7. Windows7 is just windows vista sp3

Do keep in mind that as a consumer / home user, you’re very unlikely to use the additional features of Ultimate though.
