How long should system restore take on Windows Vista. It has taken about 45 minutes for me so far? It says System Restore is Initalizing. I got a virus, which wouldn’t let me go on the internet and that is why I system restored it. Is something wrong with my computer?

I’ve procrastinated past the 30 day activation mark and now have to reactivate my windows xp operating system. It allows me to telephone activate, but I’m not really fond of talking to support employees >.<. It won’t work activating over the internet, it tells me that my internet configuration isn’t working.

So what do I do, yahoo?

I noticed that some of the features Windows advertised for 7 were already in Vista like Windows Search and taskbar thumbnail previews, so what is really different about 7? I have Vista and have no problems, should I upgrade?

I installed an add-on software for Powerpoint on my Vista and now everytime I start Powerpoint it prompts me that an unidentified program wants access to my computer. I know the program is safe so my question is how to turn off this annoying message.
