before my phone never worked properly with vista, but I could always get a connection to the internet via my nokia when out of the office. Now have updated my laptop to windows 7, everything works except the internet connection.

I’ve got an older windows xp computer and I can’t seem to connect it to my network. The router is right next to it and I’ve plugged the ethernet cable in but I can’t find the option to join the network. On my Vista it just does it automatically but this doesn’t seem to be so easy.

I’ve read website after website, and I still don’t understand. We don’t have XP Pro, it’s just the home version. Computer #1 is connected by wire to the router, computer #2, is connected to the internet by wireless.

How do I connect these computers to share a folder?

I have a laptop running vista and a desktop running XP home, and a wireless router. How can I connect them so that I can print with my laptop out of the desktop’s printer? It’s supposed to be easy with a wireless router, and while the internet works fine, I can’t make the laptop connect to the desktop to use the printer.
