The tower turns on and everything internally turns on, but my screen is not getting an image from my computer, everything is completely blank. Is this an issue with my video card? what’s the issue? please help. Thank you.

Installed Picture It 2002 in Windows 7 but it won’t work

I just bought a new laptop that came with two recovery disks on DVDR. I also have a desktop with Windows XP installed. Can I use the Vista operating system on the disks to update my desktop to run Vista? Ask if you need more details.

The other day I installed Windows 7 on my computer. I followed the instructions and used the CD provided. I have noticed that I now have two operating systems on my computer now. Windows Vista never uninstalled. This is a problem as my recovery bar is “red” stating I need to take action. This bar is also full. I have no idea how to remove Windows Vista or why it is still on my computer now that I have window 7. Any ideas?
