My windows vista laptop is quite slow on the internet so what can i do to make it faster?

I have vista and want to make yahoo my default email. I tried under tools, internet options,programs. But there is no email option.

Basically I want to re setup my home network and start from scratch but how do I delete the connections from all laptops currently associated to my network and start over?

I am aware that “best” is an ambiguous term and it is subject to self opinion.

However, in terms of speed, performance and most importantly safely and security of personal data, which internet security suite is “best”?
