Many experts have a year because investigation directly into the mass culling of 100 sled dogs in Vancouver, British Columbia, (though that number has now been placed at 50) and nearly twenty-four ever since the event itself taken place. Now reported by a write-up, this appears unlikely that any charges would be laid,
So permit me to get this straight. Both “Outdoor Adventures Whistler”, the sledding given the task of the dogs, and Bob Fawcett, you assumedly in charge of the killings (as a direct consequence for the event Fawcett filed a PTSD claim), have claimed responsibility. Yet the Crown Counsel continues perfecting this “complicated file”?
What is so complicated? The BC SPCA conducted a $250 000 investigation, while using the recommendation the fact that individual responsible for the culling pay. That has still not happened. Meanwhile, “Outdoor Adventures Whistler” consistently receive “healthy” bookings.
One result of case was stronger animal cruelty laws being enacted in BC, with punishments raised from to as much as $10 000 and six months in jail to as much $75 000 as well as years in jail for serious offenders. Here’s the situation, and I’ve said this before in any previous post : you can increase your punishments all that’s necessary, these PUNISHMENTS MEAN Not a thing Cons NOT ENFORCED! When the courts will never follow-through on said punishments, an entire point is moot.
Meantime animal abusers continue to get away with literal and figurative murder, with the warning on the slap around the wrist without, heaven forbid, the proper slap.
