I have a computer running Vista 64 bit, and when I copy and paste images between folders, I am finding that the resultant files are encrypted.

Is this a Vista feature? Or is there an easy setting I can change?

Removing the encryption is not difficult – select all and then deselect encrypting contents – but I was wondering if I could keep this from occurring at all in the first place.

Thats it i got windows 7 ultimate and i want to install it over my xp but i want to keep my files.

Every time i want use my Opera and Firefox browser, Windows 7 says i have to download them again, but i just exit that notice and they work. Are they trying to get me to upgrade to the new versions?

I use a password for the system AND a password for Windows 7. Can I skip the Windows 7 login screen but still have a password when I lock my computer? So don’t have to type both of my passwords when I turn it on but still don’t have to turn off my computer every time I want to lock it.
