I’m just learning the lingo now. I have office 2003 downloaded and just finished a class on windows 7 for work. Should I upgrade to 10 at home so I am compatible at both places?

I heard that a lot of people are having problems with the new Vista platform, so people are still sticking to XP for the moment. What I want to know is this: How long is XP going to last from now? I am planning to buy my own laptop and I would be truly grateful if they have the XP platform in it.

I just upgraded to windows 7 x32 from vista and I haven’t noticed any speed/boot differences. If anything it lags more than before so right now I kinda wish I had kept vista. What do you think of windows 7?

How much should I charge to install windows xp s3, ms office, arobat read, avg anti virus and then diagnose the hardware for 7 laptops? (Note: They provide me all the software needed) So what is the ideal price for labor?

My vista laptop uses just under 50% when doing nothing and has 3gigs of RAM but my desktop uses also just under 50% when doing nothing and has 2 gigs of RAM. Does vista use the more RAM the more there is? Or is there another reson for the differences in RAM usage?
