I have a PC that has vista installed on it, it does not boot up but just shuts down when it reaches the windows screen. I want to install windows 7 on it to rid the problem but i do not want to lose my files. Is there any way of doing this?

I have Windows Vista premium home edition on my laptop and have recently installed Microsoft office onto it. The programs seem to only show up on my profile (administrator) and not on the other profile I setup for my girlfriend. I cannot figure out how to give her profile permission. Little help?

I use Vista right now, because it’s what came installed on my Gateway T-1616. I’ve been having some issues with it lately though and want to wipe my hard drive clean and try to reload Vista completely. I’d switch to XP, but I don’t want to do all the formatting. What’s the easiest way to wipe my hard drive so I can then reload Vista?

i have pc with windows ME and i want to install windows xp on it. anyway, i don’t have the start up disk. is it possible to install windows xp over windows ME without using start up disk?
