I will be getting a laptop running the 64-bit edition of Windows 7 Home Premium. I already know what antivirus program I will be using, and I could use Comodo Firewall, but I am wondering whether or not I need Comodo Firewall. I’ve heard positive things said about the built-in firewall that comes with Windows 7. Would I be safe with the built-in Windows 7 firewall or should I look for a different one?

Hello, i am using my emachines with windows vista, and all of a sudden, it wont work in normal mode and only safe mode. If it helps come up with a solution, i just hardwired my computer with a modem and wireless router opposed to be wireless and connecting off of my moms computer. So please i need my computer to work so if you know how to fix this, let me know.

A computer was given to me by a friend and they forgot the administrative password. We have tried pressing f8 to nget int safe mode but that isn’t working. Now we are trying to reinstall the windows xp. How would we go about doing so?

My hard drive is really messed. So I need to reformat it (hopefully that works).

But after several moves, I can find the windows xp cd activation code. I can run windows only in safe mode. Is there anyway to find it in the registry?
