There is a really good program that only works on XP, but I have vista. If possible I want to avoid having to spend much money, and if possible avoid changing to XP. Also, just in case would you say XP is at least about as good as vista.

I tied to dual boot win 7 with linux mint using wubi. It would only boot to windows though so I went into gparted to delete the new partion and now windows won’t boot. It says boot mgr is missing press control, alt, delete to restart. THe computer didn’t come with a restore cd either. So should I just install Linux mint as my only os?

I had one of those fake anti-virus programs (AV 2010) infect my computer and in cleaning up all the damage (and some might still be left) my computer has slowed to a complete crawl and sometimes my computer complains about some missing DLL files. For this reason I just wanted to re-install Windows XP. I am currently running XP Pro. How can I do this? Please any help would be wonderful!

I deleted everything on my hard drive by mistake. I have the Windows XP disk, but everytime I turn on my computer it says “operating system not found”. I tried putting the disk in but nothing changes. I restarted the computer with the disk in and nothing happens. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop if that is necessary information. Help!!
