I have it on steam, I want to run it through dx9 because apparently it runs smoother. I have windows 7 and can’t work out how.

I bought an alienware laptop about 2 months ago and it came with windows 7 free upgrade according to the bestbuy website. How do I get the free upgrade for alienware? i know its dell but it is not listed in the windows 7 upgrade website, and there is no alienware option. Should i call alienware or bestbuy?

I tried to use a network cable to connect to xbox live with my laptop that uses vista. It didn’t work, but when I tried it with my dad’s laptop that uses XP it had no problem connecting. I used the same steps with both laptops to allow other network connections use the laptops connection. Could someone tell me why this happened and how I can make it work on vista.

I have Windows 7 ultimate, and I have the internet tv, but I want to stream media from my laptop to my tv and do it with a wireless connection. Do I need to buy anything? Has anybody else done this?
