I have currently got Vista Home Premium installed on my computer and am running linux through a virtual pc. My computer is contently freezing having to run both operating systems. Is there a way I can have to separate operating computers on the same machine.

I know it comes out on October 22nd, and I was wondering how much it’ll be if I get it with a dell inspiron mini 10v netbook? The ubuntu version is £199. Will it slow down my netbook?

Got XP, ran it for years. Gonna try Ubuntu on my laptop and when I get the hang of that, the main PC and the kids PC will be upgraded to it.

The supposed “fast” user switching in Vista takes ages to present the list of other users then ages again to log you in as another user, even if you are already logged in. I would like to see this feature as quick to switch as it in in Mac OS or Ubuntu. Is Windows 7 faster to switch users than Vista?
