I think he has installed a pirated windows 7 Ultimate and a message has coming up saying i have one day left to activate.

Does this mean the OS will stop functioning completely? or does it just mean i wont recieve any new updates?

Also,if i want to buy genuine windows, so does that mean i have to reformat the HDD or just buy a genuine copy and enter the key?

Basically I do & I want to know what the ‘N’ means ?

This version came from the MSDN microsofts website & someone suggested it is the European version of Windows 7.

If so what are the differences between all versions available worlwide ?

How can you tell if the Certificate of Authenticity is fake?

It also has an “Ingram Micro” yellow sticker on it, don’t know if this will help?
