i have deleted 36 gb from my hard while installing windows 7 then i tried to make a new simple volume from the unallocated space then at the end after i finished all the steps a message appears saying there is no enough space on the disk(s) to complete the operation although i didn’t take all the space so wghat should i do ? ,please help

I’ve just got a Windows 7 laptop yesterday and I love it. I’m really confused though, how do I turn up the volume on it? I’ve already turned up the icon on the bottom right up to the limit, but it still isn’t that loud.. Is there another way of turning the volume up?

Please help. Oh, and no mean comments on my computer stupidness, haha.
